1.1 - Tools and stuff.

For starting without problems assembly your model, you need all the tool and stuff required.

Here a short list, that doesn't pretend to be complete :

Various shape files, Cutter, Nippers, Pliers, flat nose Pliers, Small Brushes ( 00, 0, 1 ), Sand Paper ( 400, 600, 1000 ), Toothpicks, Cotton-Fioc, 1mm. Drill, Bicomponent metallic filler, Monocomponent nitro filler, Body-maker adhesive tape, Spray Primer, Paints in the needed colours ( spray and humbrol ), Nitro thinner, Turpentine, Vinavil, Bostick, Attack, Bicomponent glue, Decal softener, Body polish cream.

1.2 - Kit checking.

First of all, you need to check the presence of all the parts, and place them well arranged, so you won't have any trouble.

For this check, mark one by one all the pieces present in the instruction sheets.

You also need to prepare a working zone, in which you can safely do all the operations, painting included.

1.3 - Documentation.

For a detailed model build-up you also need to collect all the possible documentation on the car to build, to further enrich the already good assembly instrucion and posadecal detail level .

1.4 - Parts trimming.

The next steps is to accuratly trim all the parts, refining the molding injection and eventual split-offs with cutter, files and sandpaper.

You also need to reduce eventual porosity with metal filler.

1.5 - Assembly test.

Before proceeding with the real assembly you need to do an assembly test, that let you check all those details that will be impossible to change after painting, like dashboard and rollbar position.
